• 1 Pound Brussel Sprouts

  • Juice of one Lemon

  • ¾ Cups Dried Cranberries/Craisins

  • ½ Cup Slivered or Sliced Almonds

  • Salt and Pepper

Trim the end and any brown leaves off of each sprout.  Cut each sprout in half lengthwise.  Wrap all of the sprouts with a damp Green Steamer.  Place in a large microwave safe bowl.   Add about an inch of water and microwave on high for 6-8 minutes, until brussel sprouts are tender.  Remove excess water from bowl and place cooked spouts in the bowl.  Stir in lemon juice, Craisins, almonds and salt and pepper to taste! Serve with half a lemon.
